Armenian Church in Kumkapi , Istanbul holds a special service of the miners who lost their lives in the mining tragedy in Soma in Manisa province .
In the service prayers were made and condolences messages were read for the families who lost their loved ones.
The service directed by Father Andrea Hagopian began in the morning and lasted approximately 1.5 hours. Prayers were made for the those who lost their lives and those injured. In his sermon, Father Andreas told that there will be special services for Soma in all the churches today. Father Andreas said that ” We share their pain, today all of our prayers in our churches are for our miners . May Allah have mercy on the deceased , may the injured recover fast , we send our condolences for the families. God bless”
