Merhaba!
How many people with names no barista knows how to spell can we fit in one room? How big can a halay really get? How many çekirdeks can you çitla? Finding the answer to these questions has been the undertaking of the Turkish Societies of USYD, UNSW, UTS, WSU and MQU for the past few months now and it’s safe to say we’re about to find out in amazing fashion…
Join us for our JOINT END OF YEAR INTERVARSITY BALL to celebrate another semester well done—or just done!
There will be guest speakers, you will have the opportunity to deck yourself out in Osmanlı gear in the photo corner, and there will also be networking activities to keep everyone mingling!
LOCATION:
Onyx Room, Westella Renaissance – 3 New St East, Lidcombe, 2141, NSW Sydney – yes, it’s the place where all of your mum and dad’s friends got married, except this time with none of the boredom because it was organised by students! So keep the money you’d use for takı toreni to pay for your ticket and a dapper new outfit!
Parking is available across the street from the venue, and it is also a short walk from Lidcombe train station.
DRESS CODE: Black Tie
FOOD AND DRINK:
The event will include canapés and unlimited soft drinks. There will also be raki, house beers and wine available to purchase at the bar (note: this is NOT a dry event).
